  4. The Temperature Excursion Assessment Tool may only be used to perform an assessment AFTER the excursion occurred. It may not be used to predict the impact of future excursions to the physical and/or chemical stability of a product.
  5. Assessments are performed on a case-by-case basis and take into consideration that the product was returned to the storage conditions described on the Summary of Product Characteristics or other packaging materials.
  6. An additional product quality evaluation would be required to determine the cumulative impact of multiple excursions if there are any future temperature excursions with the product involved in this assessment.
